So, If you are apart of my facebook group, you’d understand how excited I am about this whole Weekly meal plan challenge I’m putting together for everyone! As you all know, I’m horrible when it comes to cooking, as a matter of fact, we’ve been eating out way more often than usual. So, I’m really excited to print out this weekly meal plan sheet and implement it daily.
Here are a few tips on how to be successful when it comes to meal planning:
- Simplify your grocery list and try to reuse the same ingredients every week.
- take one hour out of your week to plan all your meals. (My meal planning days are on sundays) Eliminate the days that you know you won’t be home by placing an “X” on the spot.
- Recycle the same meals (For us, we normally stick to cereal or oatmeal for breakfast and lunch, we almost always have sandwhiches).
- Use a routine: Mondays- Easy 15-minute meals, Tuesday- Crockpot meals, Wednesday-Leftovers, Thursday- big dinner, Friday-Breakfast/appetizers for dinner, etc. Coming up with these type of meals make it easier and less hectic throughout the week.
