*Thank you Kid to Kid for partnering up with us on this post. *
Today is such a special day for our household; our Xander boy is one year old today. One whole year of loving him. There is nothing but good cheers today and this entire week as we have so much planning to do for his first birthday party this coming weekend.
I took Millie with me to do a little birthday shopping for him this past weekend at Kid to Kid. It’s a consignment store for kids, and you all know my love for thrifting, ha! We got Xander a few toys that sing and light up and stocked up on some fleece onesies for this winter. I also found him some shoes that are in good condition for when he decided to take his first few steps. Not sure how soon that will be, but at least we will be ready.
Millie was even lucky enough to score the cutest pair of rain boots and some horses for her Barbie collection she has here at home. It’s kind of cool how the concept of “one man’s trash, is another man’s treasure.” I don’t think I’ll ever grow out of thrifting because sometimes buying brand new items is so unnecessary to me. All of the things at Kid to Kid are either brand new or gently used, and the biggest bonus is that the entire store was clean! Woot woot!
I stayed up late last night wrapping the few items we bought for Xandy to open. I’m pretty sure Xander won’t even have interest in opening his gifts and will have more interest in the chocolate cake that’s currently baking in the oven. 😉
On Wednesday, November 15th, Kid to Kid will be celebrating their 25th year in business in a Big Way! Their ENTIRE store will be 25% off! There are over 100 stores across the United States, and several right here in Arizona! Make sure you stop by for great prices, great products, and for some early holiday shopping.
